This webinar equips case managers with the essential knowledge needed to support clients across the HIV prevention and care continuum.
Fundamentals of HIV will provide an overview of HIV transmission, diagnosis, and how treatment works — especially the significance of viral suppression and U=U (Undetectable=Untransmissible) in reducing stigma and supporting client engagement. Fundamentals of PrEP will focus on helping case managers understand PrEP options, eligibility, access, and strategies to help clients initiate and stay connected to prevention services. This training centers health equity and practical applications to help case managers build confidence in supporting clients, navigating systems, and strengthening linkage to HIV prevention and care.
